Sandy Richards is one of if not the most prolific image poster on NPN. Her portfolio spans Flora, Macro, Avian, Fauna, EPJ and others. She just reached the 5000 comment mark. Oh, yes! Way to go, Sandy. Your skills are many in photography and other pursuits. I know how much work you've put into your photography over the years and see the versatility of subjects and consistency in the high caliber of your images to be the result. You are one of the many inspirational photographers here at NPN.
When I joined NPN more than 7 yrs ago, (only a couple weeks after NPN began) I was very serious about photography, but sure didn't know very much about digical capture. I feel that I "grew up" here.
I posted and listened and learned and improved with help from people willing to post honest critiques. I'm certainly am still learning and growing - and hopefully helping the newer people now.
I'll also share that I met one of my private and personal goals a few months ago - to have at least one WP in every Gallery over the last year or two. I wanted to train my eyes to see potential in every scene before me, not just Avian or Flora, for instance.
