Oregon Printing Question

Printing Question:

My wife and I are planning on moving back to the beautiful PNW (Portland) in about a year. I'm doing my large format gallery printing mainly here in Vegas but when I move back I'd like to get it done locally if possible. I am doing exclusively laser prints on FujiFlex (so Lightjet, or Chromira, and sometimes Lambda).

Does anyone know of any labs in Portland or even Oregon that use these printers and may be capable of fine art quality?

Why the move? My wife and I hate Vegas! Its a cool place to party once in a while but horrible place to live. We just miss Oregon too much to give it up! I'll still continue with the business I started down here, but from based in Oregon from now on.

I LOVE Oregon!

Hi Mark,

Digicraft hs Chromira printing services

Digicraft

I haven't personally used them, but perhaps someone else on the forum has. I'm not aware of other local fine art printers providing that kind of printing. Most use EPSON large format printers, at least that I've looked into.

Thanks Ryan. They were the first to come to mind. I wonder if there is any other(s)?

Welcome back (soon) Mark. Advanced Photo and Imaging in Ashland has a Chromira but they don't offer the FujiFlex paper at this time. If a group of us wanted to chip in on a roll they might be willing to do custom FujiFlex prints for us. I love that paper but it is expensive.

Hi Brad. Thanks very much. Love your work BTW.

I would do that for sure!
When i get back we could buy the roll and then have a certain amount of square footage on it. Don't know how much the 50 inch roll would be (like a grand?) but if a few of us did it, no prob.

Keep up the great work BTW.

Lets do it. It will be about a year. I'm using the Chromira right now and sent in some test prints yesterday for a client.
