As many of you will know we have had a lot of people to look and photograph the Short Eared Owls at my local patch at Worlby Carrs.
I have heard some really bad reports of the behaviour of some with cameras and scopes ect and must admit i have met some that i would not like to meet again but i must say after my visit today there where something like 20+ people from all over the country and i have never met such a bunch of nice people good manners and consideration shown by all made my day.
This site as been busy for a long time now and it is nice to find the car parks and gateways nearly litter free.
Lets all keep up the good work and i'm sure the folks that live and work in that area will be pleased to see us.
I'm sure the forums will be filled with these Owls and i am sure they have given a lot of pleasure to a lot of people.
Cheers Keith.

Yes, a few other forums I visit are stacked with SEO shots, all on the same post with varying degrees of cloning ;) But they are a pleasure to view. Makes me wish I lived in the UK again :) I do hope it stays that way and does not turn into the Canadian Snowy Owl mess, with people baiting, throwing food etc...

I was thinking the same thing, the fact that the owls are happy to be in such close proximit to so many photographers does appear to indicate a sensible approach being taken.
