Photos in comment signatures

Can someone tell me, or show me where to see how most of you include a photo and a signature file in your comments?

Click on the "Preferences" link in the green navigation bar while in any of the galleries or discussion forums. There is a spot to upload your picture, or "avatar." 48px in dimension and no bigger than 10k. Also where you can put quotes and appropriate links in your "signature."

Hi Mark click on the "Preferences" option (on the menu bar next to Post a Topic). Go down to the bottom and there ia an area for Signature Block and for posting your avatar - 48x48 pixels, 10KB size limit I believe.

I apologize for "internetitis", that is asking for help when a couple of minutes effort on my part can find the answer. I went spelunking in the NPN web site and found the discussion about creating an avatar via the preferences menu. Then, it only took me 10 minutes of searching to find the preferences button.

It's very cool that my avatar and signature showed up on all of the post that I made prior to solving this problem. Great thinking on the part of the web masters!
