New Monster Machine...... so, more gloating.....

To follow Bill C. FINALLY received my NEW MONSTER machine today..... A LENOVO W701DS..... My W700 was stolen from my car the day we closed on our new home in New Hampshire in early December(already moved out for 2 days). My husband and I were actually having dinner in Concord MA at the time. Just glad our dog Blue is still with us since he chose to stay in the car after the theives broke the back window of my car and stole my photo computer..... not my work comuter that was next to it or my husband's MacBook that was being protected by Blue in the front seat (NOT)! Crap. Yup stupid I know, and I would never leave my coputer in sighte, but it was just a crazy day and my guard was down.

After 2 months of waiting for my insurance check and ordering from Lenovo, my replacement is finally here. I was holding my breath since Leneovo discontinued this model a few weeks ago. Not sure what they will replace it with, but this one works just fine for me. Oh happy day!

BTW - I know this kind of work station is not everyone's cup of tea but it is mine since I want to be able to process images in NH or ME when we go to our vacation home up there. I also like to take my computer when I travel to NS or other places.... and even just to work on pics at lunch time on my real job (though it is heavy to carry).

Glad it finally arrived!!
I don't pretend to understand all the goodies on it or what to do with them - but I know it's just what you wanted.
Have fun!!!!!!!

Sandy

I'm so glad insurance covered your loss, and what a nice new machine. Like Sandy, I'm no techno person, but it looks like a super machine. Wish I could get a new one!
