We were hiking at Cedar Gap Conservation Area in SW Missouri this morning and saw our first wildflowers of the year. A little early for Cedar Gap. Looking forward to Spring!

Spring has arrived in Texas too. I just returned from a week in Utah to find fresh new green leaves busting out, as well as some wildflowers, dandylions galore, etc. Our shortest season just ended after less than two months.....

Always look forward to signs of spring. This winter has been more like those I remember as a child. We went through a period, say from about 1990 to 2005 of really mile winters in our NE Kansas area. These last 2 years have been "winter".
With that, the first blooms are welcome. Sun on one's back usually feels good, eh?
