Moon rising over longs peak
From the same morning as the last shot, we arrived quite early to dream lake and needed to climb this hill to stay warm, and I'm very glad we did!

Cool shot David. I'd like to see this bigger. I searched around your website. Is it on there?

Looking at this on my calibrated monitor, I thought it looked too dark, but now on an overly bright uncalibrated monitor, I think it looks great. Looks like you got your exercise on this morning.

Wow, really cool and unique shot of Longs! I would love to see a telephoto version cropped much closer in to the dramatic peak-and-moon section of the comp, but I also like it how it is, with the snowy slope on the right setting the scene.

A very different take on a familiar place. Well done. It does beg for a telephoto of just Longs and the wind blowing the clouds over it with the moon.

I feel an almost science fiction type vibe here. Glad you climbed that hill for this one!

Morris, I did go for the telephoto thinking the same thing and it just did not come at all, maybe it was the cheapo 18-200 I brought to save weight

Cool image, I know it's a small part, but I really like the cloud and the peak interacting.
