First Flowers!
I had a hope that I'd find my first flowers of the season, and I did. I went for a hike in the UW-Arboretum to a spot where I've been before. When I first got there, all I could so was snow, so I was reducing my expectations. But, a few steps later - there was the Skunk Cabbage! I always get a thrill when I see the first growth of the spring, even if it's still going to snow a few more times yet... ;)

Wow! our skunk cabbage is still under a foot of snow.
