A coyote has been confirmed at Ding Darling NWR. This is the first documentation of a coyote on Sanibel Island.

What coyote wouldn't want all those duckie dinners. I was pretty sure I saw a coyote there a couple years ago, but maybe not.

Granted I am in MA, but I had 5 or 6 howling in my backyard just last week. All the snow in the northeast has them getting pretty close to homes looking for food up here.
