I went to the Regional Parks Botanic Garden (Berkeley, CA) today as I
had heard there were Trillium, Fritillaries, and Lilies in bloom. I saw
several species of Fritillary, two species of Trillium, a Shooting Star,
a rare wild onion, Star Zigadene, Wall Flower, California Poppy,
Pipevine, a few species of Ribes, Ceanothus, Canyon Live-forever and
Manzanitas in bloom. There were some nice plants for close-ups and
plant portraits. To see photos go to: http://naturalhistorywanderings.com/2011/03/05/trillium-fritillaries-and-lilies-update/
