Bones
I had a permit for the Wave on Sunday (raincheck from a few weekends ago) and met with John Mumaw. Unfortunately the sunset Saturday evening never lit up at Stud Horse due to clouds to the west. Sunday morning broke with overcast skies, but I hoped the light overcast would provide enough light for a combo of color and no hard shadows.

After the Bone Yard, I ventured to Sand Cove, then up to the Wave. Here are a few from the Bone Yard.

Doug, my fav is #3. I like the separation of the rocks and lines in the bedrock. Very nice comp. Great work!

Love that lattice design and the comp you used in 1,2,and 4

Dean and Don, thank you for your comments. Separation of the bones from the background is lacking here, as they blend together. Perhaps some direct sun on the next trip will help.

Doug, you have a very nice collection of images, but #4 really hits home for me. I love the wavy lines leading from bottom to top.
