Cooperative Clouds
The clouds were a little more cooperative this morning than they were week before last. Can't help the flat light, but it really does convey the reality of the scene.

Excellent composition! I really like the shrouded peak in the background, too. As you noted, unfortunately the light wasn't very good, so this doesn't quite clear the bar you set for excellent mountain photography.

Frosty, man, frosty. I like it for it's understatement in a time of overstatement. (Me included. )

I'm a sucker for the mountain/cloud mix, I like it.

I can't believe you didn't use SilverEfex Pro 2 on this, Todd
I like the comp, and I love those clouds.

Todd, like the composition. Wonder if a BW treatment would enhance the image.

I dig it - Pikes etched in the clouds - an image that requires a little studying.

Glad to see the awesome clouds are back cooperating for you Todd! I like the layers of this.

Again, I like how you have the clouds giving separation to the ridges. Wonder if adding a little local contrast to the distant peaks may help.
