Here are a few more from last weekend's hike to the Wave along the AZ/UT border. I tried to get some angles different from the norm, but that may be tough as the area is so oft photographed.

These are great, Doug. Esp. like the last two. #3 is a real unique take.

WOW is all I can say Doug! The entire series is really very good. Also hard to choose a favorite. I actually like 1 &2 best, but the last one is simply awesome as well.
Flippin awesome! #2 is my favorite and I love #3. I can't remember seeing this view of the wave and I'm all about new perspectives on iconic locations. Great job Doug!

Well done, Doug. The lines, shapes and colors are great. Unable to select favorites as I like them all.

I really like these too, you did very well in your attempt to look for new angles.

This is on my list of places I've gotta visit someday. Beautiful shots from a different perspective.

Nice work all around Doug. I love how you went looking for new perspectives such as #3 (WOW) but #4 is my fave of the bunch b/c I love the corner to corner flow. Good stuff
Surprise, surprise! You came away with some fine images despite the crappy weather.
I really like #'s 2, 3 &4 a lot. I think they're pretty creative views myself. Much better than your Boneyard series.
Can't wait to see what you score this Sunday with primo weather!

Sweet set! 2 is my fav here with it's simple elegance.
Great shots Doug. Love number 1 and number 4 for the textures and design. Nice work!

Thanks for the comments and preferences.
As John mentioned, I have another opportunity this weekend, and the forecast is for SUN this time. I am hoping to get better shots from the Boneyard and Sand Cove as I feel the overcast skies last Sunday really hindered both.

I like the unique perspective of #3 and #4 has classic lines. Nice
I keep applying and losing the lottery - frustrating. Congrats on getting passes two weeks in a row!

Kalin,
It is nice to get second chances at an area like that. Last week's trip was a raincheck from a permit in February when it rained all weekend making the clay road impassible.
