I recently bought a used Canon 1DsMarkII so far I have really enjoyed the camera, but..... I cannot figure out how to change the owner. The exif data shows the previous owners name :( I've read several places and this seems to be a common problem. I contacted Canon and I got a standard letter back saying they where sorry I was having trouble with my MarkIII when the MarkII is what I contacted them about....

Thought I would inquire here. Anyone had this problem?

You know who the owner is, even if the camera doesn't
Sounds to me like you need to follow-up & push Canon some more..
Sorry, wish I could help more

Thomas,
You need to load the canon capture/viewer utilities cd that comes with the camera. Canon may have it on their site as well. should be free. From there you can access and change the owner information when you attach the camera to your computer via the usb cable.
Hope that helps.

Thanks guys.
I should have stated above that I have all ready tried all the obvious things......what I have read is there is a problem getting this changed with the 1DsMkII. I have all the latest Canon software installed.
