Hi,
When I was out and about just now I was listening to local radio, and they mentioned 3 Gulls have been found dead in a boating lake in Gloustershire and are being tested, results are expected this afternoon. :frown:

Regards
Brian

Strange you say this, because on the day of the "outbreak" I was in the Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire) and there was a chap at Cannop ponds making a big fuss over a dead Mallard Duck. He had phoned the Forestry Commission, the RSPCA, the Council, and according to him no-one was taking responsibility for checking it out. He was making a REAL big deal of it and telling everyone there. I just laughed at him. BUT maybe Gloucestershire is for the chop now? It's also strange how a mock outbreak was planned for Gloucestershire on the same day as well. Anyone familiar with how intelligence agents work?

Am I the only one who thinks Paranoics Anonymous have joined up with UKNP

Its simple, the NATIONAL phone numbers are: Defra helpline (England Scotland & Wales) on 08459 335577 or the DARD helpline (Northern Ireland) on 02890 525618.

David, this is a nature photography forum, not Private Eye

Be sorry you're not on the end of those phone numbers, every single dead sparrow, pigeon, gull etc that a MOP (member of public) finds will be being called in to them for investigation. Can you imagine having Great-Aunt Ada Doom on the other end demanding that someone comes and collects it immediately for testing before her cat eats it .

In the imortal words of Jones...
"Don't panic Mr Mainwaring, don't PANIC!".

If you don't mind guys, let's leave the conspiracy theory stuff to the Daily Sport and the likes...
