Painted Hills, Oregon

Thought I'd throw another one of these up here. Comments and critiques appreciated.

Very nice lines, textures and colors. Looks like you had some pretty heavy cloud cover when you were there.

Nice diagonals and nice soft colors. Is this a place I should put on my list for May? By the way, I am really impressed with the way folks are starting to post...keep em coming!

Very nice David, this is very different from the usual images of the Hills. I like the texture!

Nicely done, David. I'm also a fan of telephoto landscapes, particularly at Painted Hills.
Jack: May is an excellent time to visit John Day country. If you're lucky, the bee plants will be flowering in the folds of Painted Hills. http://gregvaughn.photoshelter.com/image/I0000bpU5zufXIZs
Very nice. I'm always thinking I need to go wide in a place like that, but then you get too much sky. I gotta go long more often! Thanks for the inspiration.
