I just wanted to throw this idea out. I was watching a podcast the other day called "Within the Frame" hosted by David duChemin. This podcast has went through a cycle and is now completed. Basically he takes images from a group in Flickr and in each episode he critiques the images. It is a really cool video podcast and runs under 15 minutes. I thought wouldn't it be cool if we had a video podcast like this being we are all about critiquing. I don't know what the expense would be or if it would be feasible for us right now but I think it would be a great way to promote NPN. I was also thinking about getting sponsors for the podcast like Nik, Topaz, Lensbaby, etc...I thought one way to go about this is to have a forum for those who would like to have their images critiqued in the podcast and we could pull the pictures from that forum. Any thoughts about this?

Another idea just popped into my head and that was an iPhone, iPad app of say the last 5 Years of the Best Images on NPN.

David, I like the suggestions!

My basic issue is this - I am so stretched for time right now I'm lucky to keep my sanity. My job sucks beyond words (too much time, too much stress) and am trying to navigate my way to a more relaxed life style.

As NPN has grown, so has the amount of time and attention it needs. There is so much more that could be done if I didn't have to worry about spending 55 to 60 hours of my life every week working!

Speaking of work, off I ago again....

Who needs money, just find a deserted beach, set up a tent and eat lots of seafood....

Seriously, I like your idea too, David--my problem is that i dont have the technical expertise to make it happen, but maybe someone else does...
