Hard Drive Crash

In a topic that's been listed here several times in the past, the hard drive on my IMAC crashed a couple of weeks ago. It was 4 years old and like is said - it's not a matter of "If it will crash" it's "When it will crash". I had all of my photos backed up on two separate external hard drives, so they were all safe. I also had my entire hard drive backed up with the APPLE TIME MACHINE.. This was a life saver because it backs up everything on the hard drive. All my programs, notes, e-mails etc were saved. If you don't have a program like this it is well worth looking into.....

Glad this isn't a disaster post of tears and hair-tearing! :smile:
I hope no one is putting off backing everything they care about. Anything less is just begging ffor grief.

Evreyone shopuld be as detailed in back up as you are. I learned my lesson several years ago and follow a similar route as you.
