My old Microsoft wired optical mouse needs replacing and I thought I might upgrade to a wireless any suggestions as to models that work well with Photoshop.

I have used an el cheapo ($19.95) Microsoft wireless mouse for years and have been well pleased with it. In fact I just bought another one the other day on sale at Office Depot for my laptop as the one I was using finally died after 8-9 years and 3 laptops. I think the trick with any mouse is just being used to it and it's characteristics. I imagine all would be suitable for PS once your get used to it. Is there a "best" model? I don't know.

I have a Logitech that I like very much--in fact, I have two, one at home and one at the office--and it's ergonomic as well. I believe I got them at Staples. I don't remember the price but they were quite inexpensive. Your computer will even warn you when the battery goes low, and you can install updates if you want.

I have wrist problems and they now make a wireless mouse that you grip more from the side than from on top. I think it is a MS wireless 6000 or something such as that. Pretty nice mouse. Also I have one of the little laptop MS wireless that folds up like a clam. USB transmitter is a tiny thing that can be folded up inside the clam when not in use. One thing I like about that one is that when you fold it up the laser shuts off so battery life is much extended.

After trying nearly every design due to my wrist, I finally figured out that the best thing (for the wrist) is to switch out frequently so the motion is slightly different. It works. But consequently I've got a dozen different devices around the house. Wired, wireless, trackballs for thumb and forefinger, travel mice, giant mice, mice you grip on top, mice you grip from the side, a thing that looks like a joystick, trackpad.... that about covers it. Oh, one more, a RollerMouse at work

My son, who is in information technology, etc., replaced my mouse with a Logitech. Has worked fine.
That seems to be a second to Nance de Flon.

I've always used the Logitech wireless mouse ('s? mice?) ) and have never had a problem.
But for photo editing, a tablet and pen is 10000x better than trying to use any mouse, imo. Very fine control for editing. The WACOM tablets are excellent, but not cheap. Seems nothing related to photoraphy is inexpensive...

Thanks for the feedback - Sandy I really must try a WACOM tablet as everyone that has one, swears by them.
