Was out hiking today on a trail that isn't on any maps I've seen, and came across what looks like Colorado's False Kiva.
Big kudos to anyone who can tell me where this is...

Hey, that looks like the fort my kids built.

Kinda looks like one of those to me too, Bill. This one is pretty remote...

I saw something like this in RMNP one on an off trail excursion in Glacier Gorge -- above treeline though. Based on the lack of beetle kill I'm guessing its not in my part of the state, must be down south

Paul, it's somewhere in El Paso County...

Is this up Cheyene Canyon. Near the Seven Bridges area? I seem to remember coming across old ruins (contemporary ruins) in that area when I used to live down there.

Lance, you might be thinking about Jones Park, at the top of the Seven Bridges trail, near the intersection of several other trails, but that's not it, either.

Hmm... Trinidad?

I found this on top of Chatauqua Mountain, just outside of Palmer Lake. From different parts of the mountain, you can look down onto the Palmer Lake reservoirs, Black Forest, or Pikes Peak (which is in the background in this photo, but got cropped out).
Interestingly, the trail on the mountain is not on any trail maps I've seen, including the usually very detailed Pikes Peak Atlas.
