We made a teeny, tiny aesthetic tweak to the galleries and forums (two strictly visual changes). Have you spotted them yet?

Well, the first and the most obvious change is the border around the gray area of the photo description and comments, but I'm having a hard time noticing the second one. It seems that, in the galleries at least, this gray area has a shorter length than the gray navigation bar beneath each comment or post, but that looks like an error rather than a tweak. I don't know.
What Dorin said, and the only other thing I can think of are the gray boxes next to the "Browse" buttons for large and small image uploads in each gallery. Or maybe that was part of what he was getting at too.

Is it the gray outlines and the "posting guidelines" link in the header? I don't seem to recall that being there before.
Added to that would be the "post a comment box" has moved up to be directly under the original posting information rather than at the bottom of the comments. Nice change.
I'm liking all of the tweaks, Jim.

You got the gray border, a small change that I think makes the page look better. You're on the right track for change #2 but no one has nailed it yet.

Is the second one that you can now see which gallery each image was posted in if your looking in the "all photo's" gallery?
Gary.

Gary, good catch but we did that one a few weeks ago!

I think the content column / photo navigation bar width was increased by approximately 40 pixels.
I notice the gray border. I don't remember ever seeing the facebook/twitter/npn buttons before. The forum title looks different to me. Seems like the preferences bar has been moved down.

OK, we'll give this until 5:45 AM EST time tomorrow!
The gray background box for text is certainly one of the tweaks. The other...larger thumbnails?

Jim,
I like the gray boxes - a nice adjustment that I think makes reading and picking up the comments better. Can't see the 2nd "tweaky" but in my efforts to look around, I may have found a small bugger. The attached image here shows what I'm seeing. You can see the beginning of the repeating pattern of the "Nature Photographers" graphic at the top of the page, URC. It only shows up when the image files are displayed and not the thumbnail pages. And, it's consistent across galleries. It also appears when viewing threads in the forums.
I'm using Firefox v3.6.16 and have a 23" display with resolution at 1920x1080 running Win XP. Interesting, but IE v8 does not display this. I appears to me that the bg image is repeating but there might be a size issue depending on how you've got the page set up.
Just FYI. Curious to find out what the other tweak is.

OK, thanks to all for trying to figure this one out!
Like Lon's illustration above, the "second tweak" it is probably browser dependent (and yes, I'll look into that repeating BG at the top right corner). It was simply this - the comment field where you actually enter the text of your comments (where I'm typing right now) used to be much narrower than the actual page width. It has now been widened to be roughly the same width as the rest of the page, and slightly reduced in height.
I think Dorin came the closest, so please send me your mailing address and we'll send your NPN lapel pin!
