Went out this last Saturday with the hopes of clouds, wildflowers, and a nice sunrise. Well they cloud cover we had at 5am was gone by sunrise and there were few flowers south of Fort Worth, so instead of trying to photograph an old church with the first light of day on it, I turned around to get this.

Nice ... It usually pays to turn around. Good work Darren.
Hey Darren, I really like this shot. The lighting catches the tree with a lot of detail and the graduated light in the sky leads the eye right into the center of the subject. Well done.

The pastel colors of early morning make the silhouette stand out. The road and fence posts add to the depth of the photo.
Very plesing.

Thanks.
With the tree and the road and all this really said "Texas" to me.
