Cranes (NOT!)
I shot a bunch of stuff this morning, but don't have time for anything more than a token post right now. Here's Almagre Mountain. I got my usual clouds below, but I was really liking the stormy weather brushing the summit along with the low clouds.

And I'm really liking it too! This is the layered look to the extreme - there's so much depth here. :toast:

Very nice Todd!

The light on the foreground absolutely makes it a great shot. Of course, your usual clouds below and above make it an outstanding shot anyway. :toast:

Yet another superb composition! No nits whatsoever. Excellent work (again), Todd.

Love the clouds, of course, and the criss-crossing ridge lines. Fine image!

Love it Todd, beautiful scene and comp, and it definitely looks like one of yours!

I was rushing to get my Travel Shots for the impending trip overseas and saw this, just didn't have time to stop and snap any shots. Great shot of a Little Photographed Mountain.

Todd, the diagonal hills and clouds floating between them really makes this special. Awesome comp!!!!

The diagonals separated by clouds, coupled with the light on the LR rocks, make this image a pleasure to look at.

Really like the depth here, like Dave mentioned. And the sunlight in the foreground and on Almagre make it happen.

Really like the layered effect. Well done.
