Congrats on the selection Danny. It's a great and true image from the CA desert. I just drove through there - or near where you may have captured this. There is a great stretch (and sad) like this between Barstow and Mojave on HW 58. I'd love to spend some time there, but the 8+ hour drive I made from Laughlin to Livermore wasn't conducive for stopping.

Nice photo, Dan, I love the scenery along that stretch but do not like the drive.

Congrats Danny! The shot def conveys an abandoned and desolate feeling, which is fitting for the Mojave :toast:
