Two years ago I designed a plexiglas wind box for flower photography, and finally last weekend at my Macro Boot Camp in Boston, I taped how to build one. The video is on YouTube and you can get the link from my blog at www.MikeMoatsBlog.com

Mike - great video, and very timely for me - that is my next project! It's always breezy around here.
Thanks!
Sandy

Thanks Mike. One tip though. The makers of poly & acrylic advise that you shouldn't use paper towel to clean it. Paper towels and even tissues (Kleenex) are abrasive enough to scratch plastics after a while. Get a microfiber dusting cloth the wipe mist or dirt off it and it will stay clear longer.

In preparation for my trip to the Hocking Hills next week, I made a modified version of the Moats anti-wind box. I made mine a little taller (18") but narrower (12") with a square top (12"x12"). This size will fold small enough to fit into my back pack. I generally carry my tripod with one hand and I want to keep the other hand free for, oh I don't know - drawing my sword or whatever.
