Horsetooth sunset
Did anyone shoot today's sunset ?
Looking at the clouds while coming back from work thought I should grab my camera and ran for horsetooth (that's the only place closeby ) ..
A few quickies here. C&C appreciated as always.

Love #3! The horizontal comp works very well...
I did see the sunset...but was at work, cursing my luck!

This looks more like a coastline than Horsetooth Rez  .

Great shots!

Like Rene mentioned, a viewer not familiar with the location would swear it was an ocean coastline, or at least an inland sea. Cool view!

Right time, right place.
Real nice compositions, and the sunset colors are exceptional! I really like the kiss of light in the waters of #3.
Was the wind causing this choppy water? Whatever it was, it sure is nicer than plain ol' flat waters!

Thanks All.
Yes - the crazy wind yesterday made the rez look like a coastline ..

I like #3 as well. I would have a look at the white balance and warm it up a bit. Up a notch might help eleminate the greenish hue in the sky on the right. WB is a thing of preference, so if you like it cooler for this image, then that's all that matters!
