Does anyone know of a really easy tutorial about using masks? I need something like Masks for Dummies. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions.

Here's a very simple 2:40 video tutorial on YouTube to get you started.
If you have any specific questions, ask away.

NPN's Jay & Varina Patel have an ebook on masks on their Visual Wilderness website too. The link is HERE.

In addition to these good suggestions, consider checking out Tim Grey's tutorial on Layer Masking. www.timgrey.com

Thank you so much for these suggestions. I will check them all out.

BUT -- today I watched a Topaz Labs webinar, and it wasn't about masks but he used masks, and I learned how to do them! I am SO happy about that! I don't know who it was in the beginning (Carol Hyman, Sandy Richards, Catherine Reilly?) who suggested I use masks, but I so should have done this sooner. I feel so relieved about it now that I know at least something about it.

I used masks in processing an image I just posted in the Macro and Close-up Gallery. Here's the link to my image.

Barbara would you mind posting the link to the Topaz webinar?
