Meals have always been a challenge so after talking with Tom Kennon we have decided to go 'high tech' and use an online document to keep track of who is coming to each meal and what food people are volunteering to bring.
This list will also help those bringing food to determine how much to food to bring.
For the evening meal(s) you might think about something that we could warm up. We usually shoot till after dark and it is usually late when we get back to camp. Of course if you want to get back early to camp and cook that's quite alright with us.
Hey Rod. Looks like you guys have a great trip planned next weekend. Im not sure what Ill have going then, but will try to stop in and say hi.
I'm headed to the trailhead of our section of the OHT to work on the sign-in board. I thought about leaving some loppers and blazes at the store in Pelsor if any of you want to make a quick pass along our section.
Hope you guys get some great shots! Talk to you later.

Bill,
Hope you get to come by and do some shooting with us. If you want to leave the loppers and blazes I'll pick them up and deliver them to the group.
Can you send me the details on where our section of the trail starts and stops?
Rod, I dropped off two pairs of loppers along with some blazes and nails at Hankins general store in Pelsor. Someone will need to bring a hammer to drive the nails, of course. Also, the store is closed on Saturdays, so the stuff will need to be picked up on Friday or Sunday. Our section begins at the Richland Creek campground and continues downstream to Drury Hollow...about 4 miles. Matthew, Jan, and John know the route. It's a beautiful section. I cleaned it up back in September, so it shouldn't require much work. I'm also making a new sign-in board. The old one is starting to rot in places, and wasps are nesting in the drop box.
