Our own esteemed Mr. Pirolt sold one of his outdoor images to a major magazine of national circulation! Unfortunately, the magazine's site doesn't have the shot displayed (but it looks great in the magazine!) and I can't link to it from René's site.
Perhaps René will share the image (and the story?) with us.
Way to go René!!

Thanks guys!
While it is an outdoor shoot, it not the kind of image you would usually see on this forum. And no John, its not in the People rag! (although it wish it was!!!) The shot is a portrait of my dog Zeb on Squaw Pass, and it was published in a very cool magazine called "The Bark". If you are a dog owner, and haven't heard of this magazine, you should defintely check it out. The image was used to illustrate their features on page 2.

Well thank you very much everyone! I really appreciate the comments (..and so does Zeb!).
Stan - oh brother...
Bret - way too late for that! He's the queen bee and he knows it!
Todd - cover would have been nice, but Bayou the dog that is actually on the cover dog definitely deserved it! A gorgeous puppy, partly coonhound, with both blue and brown eyes.

Cool shot, Rene. Could you share your lighting setup?

Bill,
I set up the shot so I had the sun as back-light. In addition I had two Canon 580ex2 speedlites on stands for key and fill lights. The key light was just above camera left. The fill was low and just out of frame on the far left.
The exposure was 1/250 @ f/14 to slightly underexpose the very bright ambient light. The key light was at full power and the fill at half. So this was right on the edge of what a speedlite can do on a sunny day.
