Dead Horse Point
Last week from Dead Horse Point State Park, Utah.

I set my tripod up about 5 feet from a 2000-ft drop-off, had some coffee and enjoyed a beautiful sunrise.

Comments apreciated, thanks

24mm tse

Here's a redo to soften the saturation a bit. I think I prefer this one. http://www.kaephotography.com/photo/dead-horse-point-sunrise/

Nice shot Kane. I like the comp and the soft pre sunrise light here.

Nice light and view!
A bit oversaturated for my taste, though.

*EDIT*
Repost took care of that issue.

I'm really liking the soft light and the exquisite detail.

I do like the one on your site quite a bit more. Less sat and the black background really sets it off. That version is gorgeous!

Gorgeous, your redo hits the spot!

Heck, they're both really nice, but the website version is a tad better. Nice catch!

Sweet light ! :toast:

I like the level of red saturation in the posted image. However, I prefer the reduced blue/magenta in the sky on your website.

The repost does look a lot better, Kane. Also liking your dawn shot from here, as well as 'Last Light'.

Its certainly pretty, nice light--but im not sure about the comp, seems undecided whether the focus should be the wow part (the river) or the subtle/intimate part (the llhs), and both are given equal footing here, so it feels divisive to me. But pretty

I like the fact that there's a lot to study here and I prefer the one here. Nice image!

I like how the redo on your website and especially improvement to my eye with the LLC sandstone slabs being lighter.
