Larkspur?
I looked around and couldn't find one in the Wildflower books but online this looks like a Larkspur Violet.
Is it? And is it considered 'wild'?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

I think you're right Rod. It's called Bird's Foot Violet in Carl G. Hunter's Wildflowers of Arkansas. They're everywhere in the Ozarks right now, especially on the side of sloped road banks. Nice shot by the way. You captured a lot of detail while maintaining a delicate softness and all the subtle colors.

Rod, I was going to say Bird's Foot Violet but Don Kurtz describes Bird Foot Violet with five pedals. I can not tell if you have five pedals in your picture, but it certainly looks very similar? As John pointed out, great shot with great detail.

No idea what it is Rod, just that they have beautiful blooms. Nice detail!
