From time to time I will get an email concerning the interest in a Photo Art Monthly Theme. Would anyone be interested in this and if so what would you like the theme to be.
I find themes and challenges to be a great way to stretch my creativity and nudge me into trying something new. Being very new to Photo Art, I'm not sure what themes would work but floral, architecture, and insects seem to lend themselves readily to the gallery. Or perhaps a different style each month, painted, distortion, blurs. I'd probably be up for anything. I say give it a try and see how it goes.

Hi David...I haven't really participated for sometime due to other stuff like life getting in the way!!! But I would find a monthly challenge/theme good, at least for me. I'm trying to stretch my knowledge of PSE/Nik/Topaz with my photos and I would love to learn from others when you present a challenge to us. I've been lurking for sometime and I eventually hope to post again more consistently in a few weeks (read probably months !!!). :):):) Thanks for your efforts in Photo Art.

I think it's a good idea - I haven't done photo art in some time because it takes a lot of mental effort for me to pick a direction and go in it - a theme would put me on the right path

Would we be able to post images not related to the theme? I tend to create photo art when something inspires me and I have time to work on it. This may not always fit into the theme for a certain month.
However, I think a theme is an interesting idea and I would enjoy seeing what people post. I think wind might be an interesting theme, any image representing wind or showing its effect.

I think it's a good idea. For me, it would certainly stir the creative juices and get me to move outside my comfort zone. I don't think you'd want to limit post to the theme. Thus it might be more of a monthly "challenge" rather than a theme.
