Trillium viridescens
It may be a little strange that the first pic I post from the gathering is a macro, but I became enamored with this little guy. There were two standing side-by-side and I liked the way the rear flower provided an out-of-focus duplicate for the main subject providing a sort of exaggerated Orton effect on just the petals.

I'll get around to posting some waterfall and stream pics soon, but I hope you enjoy this wildflower in the mean time. We had a great time and really enjoyed seeing everyone and meeting a few new friends as well.

Canon 7D - 60mm EF-S macro - f/5.0 - 1/13 sec - ISO 320

Excellent composition Bryan. The foreground leaf is a perfect lead to the flower.

Great to see you guys again.

This is one of the best shots of a trillium I've ever seen. It was good seeing you and Haley again this year.
