Confirm Lazuli Bunting
I was out for one of my walks in the back desert when I came across this colorful bird getting ocotillo flowers. I have never seen this bird in the desert behind our place and looking in my NG Field Guide to North America and the only thing that comes close would be a Lazuli Bunting. The colors do not match exactly what the book displays but it may be a juvenile so any help on to confirm this ID would be appreciated.

Yes, you have a nice little male there.
Enjoy!
