Very impressive feat, but Swiss climber Dani Arnold recently broke Ueli's record and climbed the Eiger in 2hrs 28mins!

During last years multimedia workshop in Boulder, I had a chance to watch some of the clips produced by Sender Films of Alex Honnold climbing Half Dome solo without ropes or any aid devices and it literally gave me nightmares. As a past climber of big walls in Yosemite, I simply can't conceive of doing that. Gives me chills just thinking about it.

For those who want more, here's the link: http://www.senderfilms.com. Check out some of the trailers - especially, the Front Range Freaks trailer.

If you like mountain movies check out this movie about summiting the "Ogre" from the North Face. It's amazing what climbing techniques and technology have transpired since 1936.
