And Finally
Here are the last of my Painted Hills photos. I'll inflict others from Central Oregon on all of you next week.

I got a bit of feedback on these at another site. Let me know what you think about them.

#1 (above) is a two shot blend.

and #2, a single exposure.

I like the second on here. The first one has the sky and I just don't think it adds to the scene (IMHO). I've been enjoying your shots from here and it makes me want to head out there and stay at the Oregon Hotel in Mitchell.

Very nice and wonderful series, Marylynne. I also like this last one best. It's got so much going for it, lines, texture, color. It looks like this was a little later in the day allowing for a bit more angled light. Nicely done. And congrats on a great series. :toast:

I'd echo what Erik and David have said. The second is a very nice piece of art, in my opinion.

Thanks, Erik, David, and Ryan. I plan to print and frame a few of these and hang them in what our builder called "the gallery" in our Prineville house (it's a hallway, I said, but he insisted on calling it a gallery, so we'll make it one!)

I also think #2 is the one in this final group, Marylynne. In fact, I think I like it the best in the whole series. Fine art indeed and deserves to be printed and displayed for all to see. A beautiful body of work on the Painted hills, you really worked the scenes. Nice going.

Perfect "Gallery" additions. Thanks for the series.
