Hey at last a nice day! I had a day at Leighton Moss, good showing of Bittern's and Marsh Harrier's, so much fun had. Quote of the day was this geezer who came up behind me when I was chimping my Marsh Harrier pic's, he piped "Jesus, he's got a Buzzard in his view finder and I can't even see it!". I said nothing, just smiled at the thought of the stories.
So nice to use speeds over 250. Oh yeah I saw my first butterfly this year, a Brimstone.

Cheers now

Hi Tim,

Nice vibrant colours and good detail in the feathers, although I'm not sure if it's 100% sharp on the eye.

Yes it is nice to have the sun out again, and your story about the guy in the hide make me chuckle, no wonder they call Buzzard's "Tourist Eagle's"

Regards

Rob

Hi Tim

Great composition and lovely rich colours against a really nice BG - agree with Rob maybe a little more USM!

Hi Tim - glad you had a nice day - I think I recognise that pheasant - is he still going round muttering to himself. Nice pic - they always strike me as a bit barmy. John

LOL....

You have handled the lighting well with your exposure, the bg makes this image for me it really brings the bird forward..

Where's the pic of the Brimstone?
