Sangres this Morn
Well, the storm didn't turn out quite what i hoped for, but it was still worthwhile getting up early this morn for a quick drive out to Westcliffe--if only to see the snow falling and see how much forest burned in the recent fire near Wetmore.
Unfortunately clouds blocked the alpenglow over much of the range, so i had to use my tele to get some glimpses of the nice alpenglow off to the north of the range.

beautiful Images Stan, this forum is not going to help with the whole inside thing I've got going on. Love that first one. Did you by chance get a pano of that first one without the foreground?

Stan- like the 1st and 2nd ones. You did get a little snow and the pink sky was worth getting up and taking the early drive!

Stan, Great B&W. These old buildings are vanishing quickly.

Great shots, Stan, I really like the first one. Just wondering how it might work as a pano with a slight crop form the top?

Really NICE images, Stan. I am loving the fact that your photos have taken on a certain look,, setting your style apart from the ordinary.

Love the colors in that first one, I was traveling north of there on my way home on Sunday afternoon thinking I would see some snow but there were just infrequent and narrow storms moving through, nothing wider than a few miles.

Nice series, Stan, especially the first two. I too had thoughts of pano when I saw the first image. I love the colors in that one.

Beautiful work Stan, as usual. I really love the old barn.

I also like your first two quite a bit! A panorama of #1 sounds real interesting.
The last two seem to have had a bit too strong of a hand on the ol' Shadow/Highlight filter (or some such).

I like the B&W barn image. It reminds me of Moulton Barn to some degree.
