Great Falls of the Clear Fork
Here is one from last fall in town that I finally had processed. Location is the Clear Fork of the Trinity River.

This is probably my favorite location in town to photograph and I am sad to say it is lost as a bridge is being built right here, just 30 feet back from the falls.

Taken on 4x5 with Efke 25 film and processed by DR5 into a b+w chrome I then scanned.

I shot for the water texture to keep it from blowing out too bad. The chrome actually has more detail and better tonality than this but I had a hard time scanning it.

Darren, I really like the sense of flow you have captured across the entire width of the river. Sorry to hear about the bridge.

Thanks Tom. I am hoping for a neat looking bridge. The right hand bank of the image is about 260 undeveloped acres of a ranch and it is going to become a new urban village development. The design right now is calling for a showcase bridge, which I hope they still build.

Nice range of tones and textures in this shot.
