Rocky Mountain Arsenal new Visitor Center - 1st take
I finally got to see the new LEED Gold visitor center for the first time last night - volunteers were invited, so Marla and I went out. It's impressive! A 75 seat auditorium, huge kids area, beautiful facilities throughout, extraordinarily well-done exhibits that blend the human history and natural history seemlessly. And I can finally exhale after holding my breath for the last year since I completed two big murals for the VC. This image is a summer mural with downtown Denver, and Marla as a model listening to coyote song. It's 11' x 16'. I stitched 12 or 14 images in two rows for this one.

This is the big autumn mural that wraps around - it's the first thing you see when you walk in and it's 11' x 26 1/2'. I stitched ~ 12 vertical images in one row. They needed a lot of sky for the Teddy Roosevelt quote.

The new VC opens on 5/21 and the new entrance is Prairie Gateway, the same as Dick's Sports Park.
