The woodmouse emerges (again)
canon 10d 300 f4 + 1.4x tc 1/200@f6.7 iso 200.
I have a few logs in the garden to photograph birds on. The mouse has discovered the hole which i fill with nuts and eaten them all. Just saw his head stuck out as i was washing up... erm i mean walking through the kitchen. . quickly threw a flash outside at an angle and set myself up through the open kitchen window. Only took three shots and the batteries ran out on the flash.....Doh!.
Anyway hope to get some more soon.

Now I like this.... excellent photography... perhaps just get rid of the white blob in the grass, right hand side about 1/4 way in and about 1/3 up.

But a super shot and one that I would be very pleased with..... certainly marketable.

Hello Stewart
I like this too, apart from Phil's minor suggestion I cannot fault it, and the content with that mouse's head emerging from the wood is just perfect.
Best wishes

Hi Stewart

Really great image and proving that some small mammals can be photographed well in the wild!

Hi Stewart,

Cracking image considering the quick set up and the wearing of marigolds and a pinny.

Nice one

Lovely looking image, and inspite of the battery problem you done really well to get this.
So oftens everything seems to against you. Like it.
