I spent nearly 8 hours this weekend at a local nature park in Olathe, KS. It turns out this tiny little alcove tucked between busy highways and railroad tracks has a wealth of flowering secrets, I even experienced my first Dutchmen's Breeches! As I wandered along sunday morning reversing saturdays hike this sidelit scene presented itself. I really enjoyed it, hope you do too! Thanks for looking.

Looks like a great place to explore with your macro gear, Wayne, and it's the perfefct time of year to do so. Hope we get to see some of those dutchmen's breeches!
Glad you were able to get out Wayne, even if it wasn't in Arkansas. I like your comp on this one, and the redbud appears to be at its peak. Very nice! I'll bet there are alot of places out there that are overlooked because they're not in the nat'l forest, or more well-known places. Thanks for the reminder!

Wayne, I have always always found it hard to get a GREAT image of red bud blooms. You did a mighty fine job here.
