I know a bunch of people were just out at last weekend's meetup, but is anyone headed to this coming weekend's symposium? Anyone want to meet for lunch or dinner or a sunrise or sunset shoot?
Hi Mark, just in case you're out there Thursday night and friday morning.
A freind and I are headed out that way later this week. We're going to be shooting up on Island in the Sky Thursday night. Were gonna stay at Willow Flat CG. I think were going to shoot Murphy's Point that night and the White Rim overlook for Friday sunrise. Friday we're headed to Zion for 4 days to shoot Progeny Peak and Mountain of the Sun summit sunsets and sunrise's.
I'll indeed be there Thursday night; I'll head up to Island in the Sky after the keynote Thursday evening. I doubt I'll be able to get a site in Willow Flat, so I'll probably be on BLM land outside the park. If you don't know about it already, there's a relatively new (newly official, at least) site north of the park, about 1/4 to 1/2 mile past the turnoff for Dead Horse SP, on the left. It's easy to miss.
If you don't mind the company, I'll see if I can find you guys for sunrise in the morning at White Rim Overlook before heading down to the symposium.
