A few more Kansas images from the last week. These all taken in closer to the KC area. There is a nice linear park near my hotel that I am walking most every morning. The raccoon was seen there. Other were taken out at Kill Creek Park in western Johnson County which is a nice area fairly close in to town.

The afore mentioned raccoon. He was pretty curious about my camera and obliged a couple of bad photos on my part.

Hey Darren, You seem to be finding plenty of places to shoot even though you are near the big city. Wayne was a good person for you to find information from since he lives in the area and has shot most of it. I like all of your shots because they show the area from a fresh perspective.
My motto is if I have to go someplace for work, bring a camera and try to photograph it. I can usually find something nice and even if I cannot get great images I get a nice walk out of it.
We do need to try to do a get together again. Wish I could have made the last one in Arkansas. I wonder if the most central location for all of our active folks might be in Oklahoma someplace?
Darren,
You get a lot out if minimal material. Probably because of your practiced photographer's eye.
Most would have walked by the vertical sumac limbs but you "gottem".
As always, nice work.
