Water Bird :)

I was back behind my yard this afternoon, not intending at all to photograph birds, but I saw this cute little water bird, complete with reflection, and couldn't resist. I don't know how common it is to see a cardinal with reflection, but I really enjoyed it and thought you might, too.

And then the bath.

The rarity of sightings of bathing cardinals must qualify that species for the critical catch-line sobriquet often used by the 1950s comedian, George Gobel: "You dirty bird!"
