I spent a couple days camped out on this Ridge. The Crazy mountains on the right and the Bridgers on the left can be seen in the far distance. (its about 30 miles between the two)
I'm not on a calibrated monitor so I hope this looks alright.
a wonderfully stark landscape, typical of alpine southcentral montana above treeline! I love the light forming an interesting 'U' shape. I would consider cropping off some of the bottom and right to emphasize that light. Great stuff, Jeremy!
This is a beauty. I love scenes like this. I like the way the foreground rocks lead me in. One nit, and it could just be my eyes, but the rock just to the right of middle center appears to be glowing. It totally pulls my gaze. Maybe tone that down?

That sliver of light is great! I also like the soft colors on the horizon. This is a really great view - nice work.
Another very nice one, Jeremy! I would be a little curious if you have a version without the foreground rocks. It's not that they don't work, in fact it's cool how their lines all point at the peak. But I feel like the lit-up ridge is the main subject here, and I sort of wish the rocks weren't between me and it. I certainly like it in any case!
Paul, thanks for the heads up, I'll tone that glowing rock down a hair.
Jackson, I agree completely, unfortunately this is from a few years back when I was still in my "must force a foreground phase" I'll probably eventually go back and reshoot it without the foreground.
