Cock Pheasant
20D, 400/2.8, ISO200, 1/250 @ f8, Gitzo 500 + 393, C1pro + CS2.

Hi,

Thought I would post one of my Pheasant efforts, taken Sunday whilst checking out a creek on the Swale, this cock and two hens were the only birds to show, had to slowly crawl round whilst swinging the lens round to face them, managed four or five images before they realised I was there.....

Light was drifting back to the awful grey we have had for most of this year, half an hour later and it was pouring with rain, another hour or so and we had heavy snow

All the best

Hi Phil,

Very nice portrait. It's well exposed with fantastic colour. The weather here in Suffolk had been pretty good until today when the cloud and rain returned :frown:

Regards

Nice Phil.
Maybe a touch more room would be better, but then again so would decent light.

Hello Phil
His facial expression seems to match the weather you're having. Nice image.
