Stream and Flora
Ran across this while out hunting wild flowers. Normally I wouldn't stop but how often do you find something fragile like this that isn't being moved by the current. How do the colors look? I've been having some problems with saturation.
Why is it no one is posting images in the PNW Gallery?
Thanks for looking.

Bruce,
The colors look Great. I might have cropped the bottom just below the rock, center about 1/3rd up.and shot about 1/3rd to maybe 2/3rds ..stop under. I'd be curious to see this histogram without the bottom 3rd.
I work on these kind of shots a lot on my workshops. They are not as easy as they may seem. You need to be aware of a lot.

Hi Bruce,
I like the composition...the delicacy is cool. If you have a polarizer, I would use it here. Keeps the greens from radiating too much white ...esp on bright but cloudy days. That might give this a little more enchantment...and vignetting the corners. Ken S

Thanks Jack. I did crop this significantly and didn't want to go too far. In hindsight I should have taken a tighter shot.

Ken-Yes, I had a polarizer on to remove a lot of glare from the rock under the little bush.

The little plant growing near the rock is very nice. I'm not a big fan of how the moving water blurred the foreground though. Maybe a square crop around the plant only?

You can post images in either the forum or the IC gallery, but almost everyone has been posting in the forum for the past few months.
