Tooth & Claw is an innovative multi-media project which examines some of the complex issues surrounding our relationship with wild predators in Britain. At the heart of this exciting initiative, is the most far-reaching survey ever undertaken in the UK on how we really feel about Britain's predators, and intriguingly, why. Its purpose is not to judge right or wrong but to separate fact from fiction and is an opportunity to re-assess our relationship with wildlife against the background of a changing socio-political and legislative climate.

Views will be sought from a wide range of countryside interests - landowners, farmers, naturalists, field sports enthusiasts and indeed, photographers!

If we are to co-exist in the long term with species such as fox, hen harrier, sea eagle and even potential re-introductions such as lynx or wolf, we need to find more imaginative ways of bringing seemingly opposing human agendas together - communication, awareness and education hold the key to achieving this goal.

Please visit the T&C web site at www.toothandclaw.org.uk where you can take part and increase awareness by alerting your friends and colleagues.

I am aware that a discussion thread has already started on NPN and I am extremely grateful for the interest and comments. If you would like to express an independent view and register to be kept abreast of T&C developments, please visit the T&C site or e-mail me at peter@toothandclaw.org.uk

Best regards
