Images from the Wilderness Week
Attended the Moab Spring Fling and then spent the next week in and around the Capitol Reef area. It was nice to meet everyone and put faces to the names and enjoy a little evening hike in the Klondike Bluffs. Got a few images here, thanks for looking and C&C if you want.

This is from Tower Arch on the NPN march.

#2 Muley Point

There was a lot of wind for a few days and the sky was a little milky, but there was still some nice light.

All terrific like Joe said. #3 is killer! Good to meet you at the Fling. Always good to put a face to a name.

It was really great to meet you, Jeff. These are all excellent, but the last two really get me excited. I love the canyon image. Very subtle colors and a lovely composition. Good stuff! Don't be a stranger around Moab. You're always welcome.

This is a fine series, Jeff!
#1 doesn't rock me as well as the others, probably due to the bald blue skies and less than optimum light.
Ahhh, but the others! Muley Point is a tough nut to crack in terms of a pleasing composition, but you found one here.
I absolutely love the composition and varied light of #3. Probably my favorite.
The telephoto perspective of the badlands works extremely well. Nice play of shapes, light and shadows.
The curves and light of #4 are great! I think you could get away with a saturation bump on the lit wall and reflection.
I'd be well pleased with an outing like this one!

It was a great pleasure meeting you in Moab, Jeff. Next time you're in the area, give me a holler.

Man, these are all great, but that third one is worth the price of admission!

Awesome series - #3 is my fave too, but they're all outstanding!

Looks like you had some decent conditions on the rest of your trip. My favs are #3 and #5 but they are all good shots. Great to meet you, btw. Let us know when you are in Colorado.

Wow, numbers 3 and 4 are pretty incredible. That badlands photo is something I haven't seen much before, at least not this rendering. I like the golden monotones. Excellent job.

3 & 4 would be my favorites with the nod going to 3.

Great series, Jeff! I'm drooling over #3. On #5 (my 2nd fave) since color is not the strong suit, I'm wondering about a B&W conversion.

Yup, #3 is a keeper. Nice shot.

3 through 5 are my choices. #4 may work as a B&W also.

#3 is awesome! :toast:
